her bithday is the 16th and i dont have anything for her! she will be turning forty seven and i want to do something special for her. thanx!

I like the idea of taking her to lunch. But don't make it a surprise, instead plan it with her. Mom's look forward to visits from their kids at work! Be sure to show-up early so she can show you off to her co-workers (its a mom thing!) Dress nice and you could even bring a little gift, a bracelet or earrings or a necklace. But it doesn't have to cost a lot, just a memento. I bet she would love that you thought about her and came to her work!

Any good shows playing near you? Like Blue Man Group, Blast, Stomp, or a musical? Those could be good. Otherwise, maybe a nice Japanese restaurant where they cook in front of you, those are pretty cool.

I would buy her a bouquet of her favorite flowers then take her to the SPA, and pamper her with the work, body scrub/exfoliate then full facial rejuvenate then relaxation massage followed by pedicure and manicure and after that I shall take her out to a fine restaurant that serves her favorite cuisine. :-)

I gave my mom Robert Munch's book "I'll love you forever" I wrote a short poem in it and she just loved it. I made her cry :) It sounds mean but thats my goal every year ...if she cries I know she loves it

her you love her and give her a hug.

you know all moms love best?? I a nice dauter to be there and maybe JUST you know one else and take her to dinner or someting!!And maybe she can go do what she wants to do with you and your dad or maybe just the two of you!!

how about make dinner and a cake for her..make it specail..go to the $ 1.00 store if you have one by you and get a few decorations...and dont forget to make her a card..
