Odd category for your question, isn't it? Although the most comical theological conversation I ever had was with an intelligent, witty Irishman. Never laughed so hard to have an explanation about the pitfalls of being raised Irish Catholic - ha!

The more an Irishman thinks he is funny, the less he is.
Remember, the English were always laughing, but in fact they were mocking their otherwise wonderful accent (to the ears of a French-spoken it is music)...
