I can't speak for all tracks... but looking at the one track near myself that NASCAR uses: Sears Point. Sears Point is pretty muched booked every day of the year. Now, most of those weekday bookings will be for Open Tracks and for use by the Russell Racing School that is housed at the track. And similar uses will be booked for most winter month weekends.

Through the Spring, Summer, and Fall, there will be some racing virtually every weekend. Be it the larger events such as ALMS, NASCAR, Indy, etc, or SCCA and NASA events, or even car club Time Trials. But it will be in close to constant use - and this would produce probably a final total of around 36 such weekends a year, with anywhere from 1-10 races on a given weekend... so probably somewhere around an average of 200 races a year?

It really depends on the track. I have season tickets to Kansas Speedway... There is an Indy race, a truck race, a Busch race, and a nascar race... I am sure there might be smaller races too but they are not included...

As for nascar races... most race tracks see two races per year. You do have Lowes, that has two regular races, and an all-star challenge. You have Daytona that sees two big races, but then a bud shootout, and the Twin 125s, so that is 5 for Daytona just with the top series of Nascar...

They are pretty busy tracks when you count every race thats held there...

Figure there are 32 tracks that are used between the three series (NASCAR, BUSCH, NASCAR Truck).

There are 36 NASCAR races with a corresponding race for the other series ... I guess (and this is not 100% certain), you can say there are at least 3 races on each track, each year.

But some tracks, like Michigan International, will also host a Indy series race (Go Danica!)

Remembering that NASCAR approved tracks and races include all the real minor series such as Busch North as well as the Wealan Modifieds, etc there are hundreds.
