Have you noticed how the angels are depicted with halos, and surely a halo could be the artist's impression of a space helmet. The aliens would probably have had the technology for a virgin birth too. The three wise men followed a "star". I could go on and on. By the way I do not subscribe to any religion and I do not even think that we are descended from space men, but I do wonder if the basis of some religions was connected to aliens visiting earth.

I used to believe this myself.
My earliest understanding of God did not fit with my understanding of a physical universe, but the space man theory made lots of sense.
However, the theory fell flat when I considered the origin of man. I thought that the space man theory simply removed the question to another planet where we would be unlikely to find the answer and so there would be no point in us asking any further questions. If God does not exist and we evolved from other species, then the space man theory is immaterial as we are all going to die anyway. If God does exist, we have some very serious questions to ask ourselves since we might have the prospect of living eternally in the home that he designed for us, the planet Earth.

commence on the starting up, and recognize be counted how we believe it were given began, human beings were given jointly for survival, be it from wild animals or wild human beings. Then someone made themselves boss, and stated believe what i experience because its proper and all different stuff is incorrect. So the individuals agreed and lived satisfied less than the boss and his procedures. If the boss stated the solar is a God then that replaced into God. Then if yet another boss and his human beings stated the moon is God, nicely that ought to point conflict. On regardless of the reality that heritage it ought to go, some international locations that ruled the international had no God! Others that ruled for hundreds of years had many gods. So in our international immediately we nonetheless argue over God or no God, yet we do not kill as many as they used to. anybody is extra ideal knowledgeable at the moment, yet nonetheless not distinctly intelligent. Intolerance's is only a human tr-ate and could by no skill go away, until eventually we do.

you need to do some reading on the distances that are typical in the universe - even at speeds that are well above what we ever expect to realistically be able to attain, the human body is not designed to be away from a mother earth like planet for any significant period of time - it deteriorates faster and more completely than most people realize - the limits of space travel are so significant and so varied that many scientists believe we will never .... thats NEVER ..... reach another civilization - consider that even the closest star is nearly impossible to get to - then consider that the closest star that burns long enough to develop life is even further - and the closest one that has conditions right to eventually develop a civilization is vastly further than both of those - and finally you need a civilization that is on our schedule (developing and not burning out at about the same time we are) - thats fantastically rare - and therefore when it is found , if ever, it is almost gauranteed to be so far away that before you get there .... the planet itself will likely be suffering some sort of destruction - as well as, possibly, the star around which it orbits
the distances are enormous ..... ENORMOUS - larger than words can explain and larger than minds can grasp , usually - but you might get alot from the book "a short history of nearly everything" by bill bryson - he puts alot of things in scale that might help you understand this -
the chances of us being from another planet are astromonically rare - it just isnt something that physics and biology ,as we understand them, will allow
its a tough pill to swallow (but its worth it) to realize, we really are stuck in this solar system forever - partly because the sun and the planets themselves have a finite lifespan - and there are simply too many things for us to overcome in order to break out beyond these barriers - and not enought time to do it

This would beg the question -- if we are actually spacemen, why does the genetic history of life on this planet not reflect a sudden creation of our species? Why is our metabolism intrinsically linked to the metabolism of all life on this planet?
If we accept the panspermia concept, that life started elsewhere and came to earth, then where is the point of origin, and how did life begin there?
Taken in the context of abiogenesis and evolution, your concept is not even a theory. I'll reluctantly yield it as a variant of the panspermia hypothesis, but it provides little testability and no predictive capability.

So, Eric von Daniken and his theories are STILL believed ? The "steps" you refer to are NOT literal, they are a mixture of early Judaic belief systems and early Christian adoption of ascension symbolism, NOT steps into a spaceship.Did spacemen plant the proto-human remains and Neanderthal evidence? Perhaps ET skipped the fossil record period, and came back to Earth AFTER we lost our tails, walked upright, and discovered fire ?

You must have Jesus confused with Jacob who saw a ladder in his dream.
Here is the account on the ascension of Jesus
:
Acts 1:9
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
