I don't know where you live but in the State of Florida, it is a matter of being in the public records. In some counties here you can go on the data base and find things out and in others you need to go to the county court house where the person was charged to obtain the records.
Anyway, if you know the county the person was arrested in you can check at that county courthouse. Make sure that the information you have on him is correct and that he isn't giving you false information.

If someone was arrested and convicted...its public record. If arrested and the case was dismissed, nolled or erased after probation....it is sealed and unavailable for public dissemination.
You can find out someone's record if you contact the state and ask for a criminal record check on the person. A print out of all CONVICTIONS will be afforded you...for a price. Usually about $25.00. Any arrests with no conviction will be redacted.

you can go to your local courthouse and request public records on this person - i would advise against using online methods because they are usually a rip off - public records are available to everyone and should offer the information you need
