Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

because they dont know the carpenter who made their house.
actually you might be misunderstanding that verse.
while the moon is high in the sky its just terrestrial object. a part of the normal everyday carnal/mortal existence.
When the heavens declare the glory of God, this might be referring to the angels that appeared to Elijah and Elisha. it might also have reference to the promise made my malachi that the heavens will open and all the hosts therein will show their visions of the existence of spirits in heaven and the glory of God in such a revelation.
I personally woke up one day and a part of sky opened up and I saw a being appear and say hi.
Ive seen a lot of things open up in my minds eye that Im not sure is truly from heaven or whether someone made me see a drugged induced halucination through some sort of post hypnotic suggestion.
But what i do know! i know that the Veil can get really thin and by the will of God prophets have seen visions in the heavens and what they saw Glorified God.

I agree with you, but what makes you think it's your God and that you get to define Him?
That the problem I have with fundamentalists. Who gave you monopoly over God? The Bible? That book that was put together over the centuries? A revelation? What makes you think it's more privileged than all the other revelations through history?
If the concept of God has any utility, you must know that this is the concept of an infinite being of infinite intelligence. Therefore, such a being cannot be encompassed by normal human thoughts (Because these are finite). Therefore, you have no right to claim to a special understanding of God, and to deny the veracity of other concepts of God that may exist.
It's not the fundamentalists' faith, I have an issue with, it's their self-righteousness and willingness to use their faith as a political force to oppress those who would disagree with them.

When I look at the sky I do not see them "declaring the glory of God". It is very beautiful, yes, but that doesn't prove anything.

Besides, which God? Your Bible God's name isn't "God" you know. God is a title for a position. If I were him I'd be pissed that you didn't even know what my name was.

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

As a spiritualist, I have to ask you, are you a follower of Jesus? If so, you would know that one does not judge anyone for their belief system. Jesus loved everyone, everyone. He even asked, "does not the rain fall on both the gentile and the jew?".
He even said to remove the beam from your own eye before removing the spec of dust from your neighbors eye.
Atheists, Buddhists, Christians, agnostics, Jews, pagans are all loved by God (or whatever you choose to name your higher power). It is called free will. We may decide that their belief system does not work for us, but we have no right to judge them for their beliefs. Do you know the circumstances of some of the atheists and how they got their belief systems? I do not, but I accept that not everyone will believe the way I do, and I am fine with that. Lao Tse Tung once said, "One journey, many paths;one light, many lanterns".

Why do we need God?
we don't 'Need' god to live a wondrous and happy life, most people 'Want' god, or are 'Afraid' of hell so they go running to this invisible sky god.

the heavens (space) are very beautiful and glorious, but they themselves are glorious and they do not declare glory to god, we declare them wonderful glorious.

Try this experiment: "Santa Claus has a new suit. Can you see what color it is?"

What problems do you see with that question?

Do you have a difficult time with Santa's new suit?

Why is that?

Is it because you don't believe that Santa exists?

Atheists do not believe that God exists, and consequently do not see the presence of God the way those who believe in God do.
