Back track and find out what you have been exposed to in order to have caused your body to produce so many histamines to create those hives. If this is a constant problem then it could be an endocrine imbalance.

Otherwise, it could be food you ate, plants you rubbed against, detergent used for washing clothes... So, I didn't get enough information from you to really be accurate.

If it's an ongoing pattern for you to flare up and itch every month, then it could be your digestion. You could have an imbalance in your digestive track causing you to not break down your foods properly and your body is treating it like an invader instead of converting it to energy.

In that case, you would need flora and digestive enzyme supplementation to get your elimination system healed so that you are able to metabolize certain foods normally.

It could also be a hormonal imbalance from not eating enough of the foods responsible for all 87 hormones in your body in which only 6% are responsible for reproduction. Hormones have to do with creating your own natural anti-inflammatories so that you don't constantly itch.

A phytosterol (oral diascorea) supplement (a naturally occuring food) in tablet or cream for your skin. That cream has stopped hives almost instantly.

Phytosterols are found in many of the foods we eat, See study below:

Sounds like an allergic reaction. Take some Benadryll, if it doesn't help you may need to see a doctor and get something stronger or even need a steriod.

Here is a link to the symptom checker for allergy/itching http://www.webmd.com/hw/allergies/hw67768.asp
Check it out and you will find more information regarding allergies and reactions, etc.

If you start to have difficulty swallowing or breathing your allergic reaction can become life threatening. So if you start having those symptoms you need to get to an ER or if your throat is swelling closed call 911.

You need to take Benadryl and then find out what caused you to break out in the rash.
