If you can get a tattoo in the lower regions I'm betting you can get one on your nipple. But seeing as the nipple is one of the most sensetive body parts it would probably hurt more like if you were getting a tatoo on bone and take longer to heal. That sounds interesting though, I've never thought about tattooing a nipple.

Perhaps the question ought to be "Are tattoos performed on nipples?" The answer is yes. It is hugely painful though. Ones nipples tend to be a bit sensitive. If you're willing to endure the agony, anything is possible with tattoos.

You can but you shouldn't.
I've read articles about issues and health problems caused from it. It might be rare, but I still wouldn't want to ruin it. Besides, the color of nipples is fine as they are. I'm sure you can find information about it on bmezine.com
If nothing else, get them pierced. Much more fun and aesthetic.

yes not recommended! i have a tattoo on my chest that goes into my nipple. Honestly that Sh*t hurt so good luck oh and send me a pic so i can see

Ouch, why???????? Why don't you ask some elderly people about their tatoos and if they would do it again. Most elderly people wish they didn't have tatoos on their arms, I cannot imagine one there.......
When you get old, they sag, then how would you explain what it is. They have to tell us what their tatoos are now as the skin changes even on the arms. I am in the medical field.

Its going to be difficult. When the needle hits it its going to cause your nip to get hard and will make it almost impossible to ink.
