Why don't cats have eyelashes?

They don't need them- they have whiskers on the tops of their heads that act as eyelashes, keeping dust and things out of their eyes as well as allowing them to judge space above them the way the ones on the side of their faces work.
Cats also have another layer to their eyelids which provides moisture and ultimately blinks dust, etc. away.

MOST cats don't have eyelashes, They just don't need them because they have whiskers above their eyes. Here are some other cats facts:


-The normal body temperature of a cat is 102 degrees Fahrenheit.
