This has not something to do with age and each thing to do with the actual undeniable reality that you're relationship a jerk. My husband is 5 years older than me, and he ought to by no skill communicate to me the way your boyfriend speaks to you. also, no offense yet in case you've in effortless words been relationship 6 months and he already treats you this badly, imagine of what it should be like 3 or 4 years down the line at the same time as he's a lot extra mushy with you? I say reduce your losses and flow on from this relationship. If he's not mature or genuine looking sufficient to address your concerns about the relationship or how he's treating you, then he's not nicely worth it. believe me. human beings make blunders and anybody hurts someone's' emotions at times. the most to finding out on a good individual to spend your existence with is someone who's mature sufficient to make an apology for what they have finished; refer to you and hear to you without being offended, and engaged on the relationship. He does none of this. flow on. good success.

Let's start this out by saying the age difference doesn't matter...unless you're say 18 and he's 12...

My wife is 6 years younger than I. She was 19 when we met. We've been married for 10 years now.

It's helpful to a relationship if your family (and his) is supportive, but it's not necessary. Unless there is an underlying reason that they don't like him (abusive, druggie, etc...), only you can make the decision whether or not this relationship is going to work.

Bottom line...if he makes you happy, true friends would be happy for you as well.

Good Luck.

Nobody should sway your decision. If you think that your relationship is fine. Don't listen to other people. What OTHER PEOPLE think is not important if you are happy. I have a best friend that is now married to a guy that's 13 years older than she is and things are working out fine. At first she worried that it wouldn't work and that other people would frown on the relationship, but they are the perfect couple and they are so happy.

This is only my opinion, but I have to girlfriends that date younger guys and they are happy of course family is always going to be in your mix about the relationship...but sit down and think "Is this who I really love?" then if your answer is yes...family and friends shouldnt bother you because love is stronger than words and angry faces. Your not hooking up with his family! Its him you want...so just follow your heart...and dont put excuses why you are not happy with him...find what is important in your relationship that will make this work, and make you stay!

My boyfriend is four years younger than me - so I know what a challenge it is. Age does not matter - as long as you can deal with the lessor amount of maturity in your guy. That's the only issue I have ever had!

you shouldn't let what anyone says bother you. if you love him and he loves you nothing else should matter after all age is just a number right? :)

no one should be able to change your mind, if you think he is right for you, dont listen to anyone, even your friends if they tell you to dump him or something like that, listen to yourself
