I have suffered from headaches for many years. i ended up taking up to 6 and 8 excedrins a day!! After seeing a new doctor it was realized that I caused myself caffiene induced headaches, There for I became so dependant on caffiene, but didn't know it, and was causing myself headaches if I wasn't pumping myself with caffiene. Therefore, I had 3 weeks of dreadfull headaches while I weened myself off excedrin. And for a year or so I was better. Then Is started drinking coffee and am back to the caffiene induced headaches again.
How to prevent headaches? I would think, just to be healthy, as stress free as possible and lay low on caffiene.

Depends on the type. Migraines can be prevented by avoiding triggers, like bright lights, certain foods, etc., or by hormone therapy if they are related to the female cycles. Sinus headaches can't be prevented, really, but can be easily treated. Most other headaches are caused by stress, illness, blood pressure problems, medications, etc. Your ? is so open, I suggest you do more research, and come back with something more specific.

this is a really good question...
i have had a constant headache for about a month or so now. however a month ago i broke up with my boyfriend of two years and since then i have just been so stressed/ sad...
so i would say
eliminate the stress.
but that is really hard to do..
so you might just have to live with the headache.. like me!
