Go to Doctor Phil's website and there is a link for potty training in a few days. You have to throw a party every time they pee.

I am a mother of two toddlers. I think the best thing is positive reinforcement. Verbal praise is so important and if they make a mistake and potty in their pants NEVER get mad or frustrated. After all they are learning for the first time. Also stickers rewards work. There are also potty videos (cartoons) that kids can watch as well as potty books. I was never a fan of small port-a- pottys because then they have to be trained to be on a big potty. However, my mother in law, would have the kids sit on the seat with their clothes on, on the Port-a- potty while they watched the potty video. Another way is to let the baby, when at home, just go around with their underwear. Some of my friends even let their kids go around naked. It can be a trying time, but to see the kids so happy when they potty in the toilet, it is so rewarding.
Good Luck!

There is a book.I think it is called flush the potty or something. My son used to have it.It has a button and each page has some little story or ryme and you have to push the button to flush the potty. My son would sit on the tolit for hours and play with this book when he was about 1&1/2 old.He potty trained in less than a week.

In addition to all the good advice given above, let me tell you how my mother did it and how I did it. (This is for boys only.) She told me potty training would go faster if, on nice days, I let my son run around naked. I kept a real close eye on him so I could "catch" him peeing, then praised, rewarded, etc. He caught the connection quickly and training took only about 1-2 weeks. Good Luck to you and your future children...

one thing that kids love are stickers... so what i did when my little one was ready for potty training. I gave her a sticker book and a calendar and everytime she used the bathroom she got a sticker on the day space.. it works... really...it also makes them feel proud as well..
