I've been telling this girl I would call her and make plans for weeks, but something always comes up. We are friends and everything but want to start dating. I can't bring it to myself to call and ask her out on a date or just to talk? I keep saying I will but don't. Help me out.

Just do it. Just pick up the phone and call her. Trust me. She is proabably agonizing over why you have not called her yet. She probably thinks that you don't really like her.

Well, if you're too scared to do it over the phone, why don't you try asking her out in an email, or a text message?
It may sound cliche, but it's not as scary as asking her out over the phone.

you should call her and ask her out soon because you keep saying that you will and you never do and she might start thinking that you don't like her so just call her :)

You are just nervous and that's completely normal. Just give her a call and ask her. At least you will know you tried and if she says shes not interested, its her loss.

Maybe because you are nervous that the dating part will go badly... and might hurt what you have... I would go for it tho... you never know what might happen... and you'll regret it if you dont see what is there...

you shouldn't over think it... so just call her just to say hi and just go with the flow. many of my relationships have started with just a hi! so be cool and say whatever is in your mind.

you are probably subconsiously nervous ... it is hard to make that jump to more than friends.. i say that you just call and talk to her.. if she says she can't then give her your number and tell her to call when she has time... then you make time for her if you are interested!!!

dude its not that hard,tell your friends well do it another time and ask her out she may gettired of waiting.whats more important you love or your friends
