Is it better to have a big wedding and invite the entire Indinapolis Colts team or a small wedding and invite the LA Galaxy. My fiance wants to invite our family, but I am uncomforatable around them because they don't speak english.

i like your thinking... inviting strangers....

I would Invite a bunch of mexicans to make everyone uncomfortable The sound of drunken spanish men having fun and getting rowdy will keep everyone even her family at bay.
The chaos might even bring the police to the wedding in which you can have the mexicans and some of the relatives you dont care for taken to the slammer for the night.

man that would be the start to the perfect honeymoon

Only you and your fiance can answer this question together. You can elope with no guests or you can have 500 people. You need to discuss this together and decide what is important to both of you. If you would both like a small wedding with only 2 witnesses, then do it. If your fiance wants his family and you would like some friends then perhaps you could invite your closest friends and limit the family to immediate family only. There is no right and wrong answer to the question - just the question of what you both really want.

Good luck!

Well there is that new player for LA Galaxy that does speak English but it may be difficult for some of your guests to understand all he says also. As far as inviting your non speaking English family you and your fiance are going to have to settle that one amongst yourselves.

It is supposed to be a special day for both of you. Maybe you could work something out with her. You do need to remeber that it is her family, and even if you don't feel comfortable around them, there are some things you just have to deal with. You could have her with you and translate for you if them speaking another language makes you feel insecure.

I don't think I'm entirely sure about your question but if in fact it is about a wedding I say do whatever the bride wants. After all, she's been dreaming about this day since she was a little girl.

If they are family...they are family. Know what I mean? Would they be hurt if they weren't invited? Would your fiance be sad if they weren't there for your big day??
