I didn't know you could fly from Uk to Kabul but I would recommend flying from the UK to Dubai and then fly from terminal 2 to Kabul. Air Ariana is not fun for 2.5 hours let alone the 7 7.5 hours it would take to fly from London. I flew from Kabul to Istambul once and it was supposed to be 4.5 hours and it ended up being 7 hours because they ran out of gas and stopped in Tehran for gas for an hour. Yeah that was fun. So unless you are flying a charter or military Herc than it is best to go through Dubai. They seem to have have that route running fairly smoothly. But otherwise I think it would be over 7 hours to fly from Uk to Kabul. I flew Dubai to the UK once and it was about 7 hours so probably more like 7.5.

Oh and bring toilet paper and handsaniter for the Kabul Airport, in case you have to use the toilet, but try and go before you get off the plain because it is gross.

The best option for you would be to travel to Dubai with Emirates or British Airways or any other cheaper airline then catch the 6am flight with Ariana Afghan Airlines or Kam Air..Make sure you match your flight times to avoid missing your connection for Kabul.
