I always assumed that since we were born in the same decade (him born in 1972, me 1979), my boyfriend and I were in the same generation. I'm 28 and he's 35.
but then someone told me today that not only am I in a huge age gap relationship, but he's also a generation older than me?

I don't think it matters, as long as you two get along and care about each other. There is an age gap, but I do believe you are of the same generation. After both partners are over 26 I think age gap becomes less relevant.

LOL...my ex-boyfriend was 6 years older than me...
i'm in college--18 and he is 24, working....so he thinks that i will find other better guys and break up with him.
I told him it's not gonna happen but he still has problems trusting me. so we broke up.

Who care's how old you both are. I am 28 and my Husband is 40 and we have a great relationship. What matter's is how he treats you, you shouldt worry about what other people say.

u shouldn't listen to someone else because u have to go out with not them. if ur ok with the age difference then it doesn't even matter.
