Anyway I was chatting to the girl I like at work during this week. She flirted with me a little at various different times. In my old question I explained how I asked her out and she responded by saying she was sorry that she has a bf, but that I am lovely, she thinks I'm brilliant and she is so glad she met me. Well I heard through the grapevine that things were not goin well with her bf. I was sitting with her and another girl at lunch. The girl I like talked for 15mins about how much she dislikes her bf, that he is coming back from a trip abroad in 2 days time and she is cringing an the thought of having to meet him. She said she is goin to dump him and that some of the things he has said to her makes her want to be sick. I was gobsmacked to hear her talking about her bf like this. I never ask her about

him as I do not want to disappear. I didnt join in in slagging him off. I just sat back and listened. I figured she would never talk about him like that in front of me. This was the reason she said she cant go out with me. So if she was not interested in me she would pretend things are fine or ok between the both of them, right? What message do you think she is trying to tell me.

I talked to a few guy friends who know us both. They think something is definitely going on between us. We all are not sure if the girl knows what she wants though. My mate said he doesnt know what advice to give me. First he says she is giving me signals and that I should make a move cos if she does finish him she wont be single for long as she is a really hot girl. On the other hand maybe she needs some space and I will mess it up if I rush in too early. Any advice please?
Thanks

NO!!!! DON'T MAKE A MOVE!!!!
!!!!REBOUND ALARM REBOUND ALARM!!!
You need to improve your game, sonny. You don't want to be her safe back up guy. You already asked her out, let her come to you. Girls are incredibly easy to manipulate, unfortunately. I would very much like it if a good person like you used these skills to get a girl you like, rather than a ratfink. You should play it cool. She already knows you fancy her, if you back off she will panic and want you to like her again and then come to you. You've just got to have the resolve and confidence to keep it up! You just have to let her think you are getting away...make her chase you a bit...

Dont act too keen,if you want to make a move and for it to be right make sure you know she has finished with her bf first.Im female and know that some women want attention and may say things about their current partner to still gain attention from others.I beleive in eye contact and if you get a damn good feeling when you make eye contact with this girl and it feels as though shes feeling the same then thats normally a good indicator that your fancied.Make sure you know shes single before the move in on her.Be original if you do ask her out, leave a note for her asking her out.She obviously likes you its just a matter of a little waiting im afraid.Good things come to those who wait! Good Luck!!

"i heard it through the grapevine! And im just about to lose my mind!" Haha Thats indeed your situation, Classic song too.
Thats the thing i don't like about women, They send mixed signals which gets us confused. Now it seems to me like she was coming on to you then she was being a genuine person and saying she had a boyfriend, and wouldnt cheat. This could have been an attempt to get to you, if she constantly kept looking at you for re-assurance then it could have been a "signal" that she was more interested in you.
My oppinion? Give it 2 days to sink in, If the guy is an aggressive person, you going out with his EX a day after they broke up will prevoke a fight maybe. And giving it 2 days will give you time to observe her attitude to the break up. Wait 2 days, then go for it.

Go for it; you really have nothing to loose.
Consider your options:
1) Sit back while she becomes available with your thumb up your a** while she gets involved with someone else and feel sorry for yourself because you're wishing you had made that move.
2) Make the move and find out and thus take control of your life
I think you go with 2, but that's me.

at least give him time to get home and get dumped. i wouldn't rush in too quickly. however, if she knows you like her and a b/f was her reason to not date you then she could be dropping hints. i still say wait until she has had a chance to dump him and drop some casual hints yourself. ask her to have a drink after work. something not requiring too much commitment. good luck.

as a girl.. i went through this too.. i wanted to go out with this guy but i had a boyfriend and i would always talk to him about how bad my boyfriend was. this was when i was in high school. im 21 now and dont do that anymore.lol. its obvious that she really likes you and wants to go out with you. give her time to end things with her boyfriend and dont pressure her. and remember, its not always nice being the rebound. she will prob go out with you, but if she sees her ex with another girl, she will want him back. thats just the way girls are.

I feel your pain pal
Dont worry about what she's thinking because it doesn't matter...
Try to get her alone somewhere...anywhere...just go for it and give her a kiss. Cheek, lips, whatever. If she freaks out which she probably wont then still nothing lost.
No guts no glory
