our teacher told us that you know you are really learning a language and becoming more fluent if you begin to dream in it. so my guess is the one you are really good at.

I only know english fluently but know some German, Arabic and spanish and will still speak in those languages in my dreams depending on the dream. Its kind of neat.

It switches between one and the other, depending on the dream content. HOWEVER, here's the weird part. I went to Brazil for two weeks a couple years ago a learned a very limited vocabulary, maybe 5 words, and dreamed people were saying things in Portugese that I had long forgotten from my conscious memory. Now that is odd.

I think it depends on the person, maybe the language you learned first?
I took a class in college with a girl who spoke both Spanish and English fluently, but said she would think and feel in Spanish.

i think there is no language in my dreams. I just seem to understand other people and tell them things... but I can't recall what language was it.
I speak English and Spanish fluently.

I would think both. Because i speak two languages and i may have a dream one night with one and the next night in the other or a diffrent night in speaking both at the same time. Its just weird i guess. but if you didnt dream in your language then we wouldn't understand our dreams.
