Why not just say ?, of all the things that can get on ones nerves in a reletionship this must be the lowest rung on the ladder.Sure you just don't wanna end it anyway?.I say tell your partner what your gripe is and then if they do not make an attempt to change then you can decide to go your seperate ways.

I live with someone who eats loudly and it really gets on my nerves, unless they're eating something noisy like crisps it can be helped. Does he/she eat with her mouth open (even just slightly) thats the reason a person would eat loudly. So all you have to do is tell them, communication is always the answer.

Sure. I guess you can dump your partner for anything you want.

It's perhaps not the best idea to dump him/her solely because he/she eats loudly. I guarantee most everyone else you date will have far more annoying habits than that. And if you ever live with and sleep next to him, you'll discover even more annoying habits! Woo.

For sure i would. Two things i really dislike is when someone is loud at eating or talks with thier mouth full of food. It's really bad manners and is disgusting.

I noticed george w. bush talks while his mouth is full of food, it's sickening to see someone do that much less a president.

My friend dumped a girl because she "cut" a sandwich in half with her hands. I think she also used to flip her wine glass upside down on the white table cloth when se was finished with the drink, "so the waiter knew she was done".

I don't think I would break up with someone over it unless they had other annoying habits. I probably couldn't stand it very long tho. Have you brought it up? Like, "I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't eat so loud." "Did you know that you eat kinda loud?" Or jokingly say, "I will have to kill you if you don't eat quieter."

The first time I go out to eat with someone, usually the first date, I take care of that. I let them know that there would be no way we could continue dating if they chewed that way. It usually works. I could never imagine putting up with that at every meal.

Easy awnser here I'm afraid...YES you can..although that WOULD be the single most rediculous reason I've ever heard for dumping somone...I mean TECHNICALLY.... it COULD theoretically be that their jaw is out of alignment and it makes that sound naturally...wouldnt it suck to dump them for something they can't control? I mean cmon...if that is the BEST reaon you have... dump the person and throw yourself in front of traffic..... you are the pickiest most fickle bastard I've ever heard of.
