Love and God are the two biggest lies in human history. There is no proof of each, neither is tangible, and one or both are responsible for every single act of violence on this planet.

I've been married to my husband for 11 yrs and I do "love" him but it wasn't until last Tuesday that I really saw love. My Father died last Tuesday with his family at his side. When he was dying he looked into my mothers eyes and you could see the love,, it felt so real you could almost reach out and touch it. And then later when we went to the funeral home to make arrangements and to see the body once more before he was cremated I watch as my mother stroked his hair and whispered in his ear. I realize now what true love is all about. It took 40 yrs but I feel I was blessed to have seen their final moments together. They have been married for 44 yrs and have been friends since they were 12. It really is a "LOVE" story.

I suppose unrequited love would seem like a lie, since it's promise is so great, if thats true then risking the ultimate lie is worth it for the chance of true love

no I don't agree - the lie is on an individual basis , but cannot be generalized at all !

I do not agree. Love is truth, and truth is love. They are indistinguishable from each other. Both truth and love are absolute, and therefore, one and the same.

No. The bible says these three abide; faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love. Whatever happened to you, please don't let it make you jaded or cynical. Love is beautiful and it will come to you again, if you don't harden your heart.
