My sister and I shared a closet, all my clothes fit her and vis versa. We would wear each other's clothes, but we always ask if it was okay first. She died last month, and though I am fine with wearing outfits that belonged to her, it feels like other people aren't okay with that. We were two years apart, but we looked enough alike that most people thought we were twins... Any ideas on what I should do?

Aw, First I'd like to say that I am sooo sorry about your sister.
My sister and I are three years apart, and we both share a closet as well, We both share eachothers clothes as well as you and your sister did too. I personally wouldn't have much problem in wearing her clothes, in fact, I would feel more comfortable if I were to wear her clothes because it was something that reminded me of her and the good times.

If it botherd my loved ones when I wore her clothes,
I simply wouldn't wear them, because of the fact that it might reminde them of her death, or reminde them of her too much.
Which could be very difficult for your loved ones to over come more easly.

But if it is just kids at school harassing you about it, and it's not your parents or your other loved ones, than I would wear them anyway.

That's just my thoughts upon this particular situation.

I'm truley so sorry, when I read this I started to cry.

I wish the best to you hun.
And if you have any further questions,
Please don't hesitate in contacting me.

Good luck!

XoXo

It is clothing, and if it helps people (or you) to remember her, then I say wear the clothes. What would your sister say? She would probably want you to wear them. You need to be o.k. with the passing of your sister and you do not need the added stress from others hounding you, simply tell them that your sister would have wanted you to have them.

First of all, I'm very sorry about your sister. I personally would not wear her clothes though. It just seems like it comes across as insensitive and a bit creepy.
