my friend got me this bath and body work set (lotion, perfume, and shower gel with same scent) whats the showr gel for?

When you're in the shower, you wash your body with the shower gel. Just a fast easy way rather than using a soap bar...and if you got the body set...it is like wearing the perfume all over y our body. What a nice friend you have*~:) Enjoy*

Shower gel is used in the shower either after bath soap or instead of bath soap.

Shower gel is for your body, it's better than soap. Soap leaves your skin dry the shower gel has moisturizer in it and is so much better for your skin!! You can also use it in your bath..

its for washin, if u dont no how 2 do that ill tell ya
1) take off clothes
2)turn shower on a good temp
3)get in shower(with clothes off)
4)use loofa or wash cloth and put soap or shower gel on it
5)put loofa or wash cloth with soap or shower gel onto wet skin
6) move the loofa or wash cloth untill u r all soapy
7) rince off
8) dry off
9) put on clean clothes
10) go along with yur day as usual

Its soap that you use in the shower in the form of gel. Its for washing with!!

it is a alternative to soap
no yucky soap scum in the holding tray
doesnt fall into the drain as a yucky mess
more sanitary then everone using one bar of soap
less drying to the skin as it doesnt have the additives that make up the "bar soap"
more portable if used in many locations,gym back and forth etc
soap would be bad for this and make a mess

Shower gel is like body wash, which is essentially just liquid soap. It just has a more appealing texture, smell, and name.

It's just liquid soap. Usually smells pretty and doesnt leave residue like a normal bar of soap.
