Wrap a small piece of bacon around it w/ a band aid. I know what you are thinking but it seriously works, the fat draws the splinter out.

Put lotion on the finger on and around the splinter. Then, put a piece of tape over it. In about a minute, pull the tape off in the opposite direction of the splinter.

Most first aid manuals will discourage squeezing (though it does seem to work), but tell you to scrape against the splinter, then pull it out w/tweezers or a needle. Always disinfect afterward, with alcohol or peroxide, as this is a puncture wound and more prone to infection, esp. if the splinter has been awhile.

Tweezers. You could run a credit card over it to see if this will help to skip it out of your skin. Or you can use a needle (carefully) to try to flick it out.

If the splinter is in there deep and you cant see the end, just let it work itself out.

have a girl use tweezers to pull out the splinter. You won't feel a thing, if you like...stare at her eyes. LOL!

If none of it is protruding out to get a grip of using tweezers, use a needle to get underneath it and flick it up. You'll probably make a small cut in the skin, but waaa. Also, if you dont have tweezers or a needle handy, use nail clippers. Just make a small clip where it went in and try to get a corner of the clippers to get a hold of it. You'll get it.
