Are you serious? This question is goofy enough to be true. If this happened to me I would have said, "excuse me? No, you do not need my hair. Please go away from my table now. Thank you." And then I would have turned away. If they didn't go away, I would have stood up and yelled, "MANAGER! over here, PLEASE!"
There are to many nut cases out there to mess with any of them. I don't take chances with anyone. Even if someone asks for directions, I keep on moving. Sorry, I don't want to end up on the 11:00 news as missing.

Actually while I was in the military we were told to cut off a piece of hair (in urgent situations) and use it for a number or things hair can be used as a cleaner of carbon (did you know that the only thing that can destroy a human hair is to burn it) Or if a piece jams it acts for a few shots as a sort of dry lubrication inside of the gun. And if it is a muzzel loader then you can use hair as wadding for the ammo. I never used this method before but have heard of these things. Or he may be a psyco...use your judgement

I'd tell them it's not available for the taking. Guns, strangers and my personal DNA is not a good sounding mix; maybe too much CSI - ya never know these days.
If they need hair, go to a salon.

i'd tell him no...what the heck does he need hair for his gun for...get his own wifes hair...what if he were collecting it to set up at a crime scene then your wife's hair would be in some criminal dna database...tell him no and that its very rude to ask for something off of someone elses's body. or you can say yeah you can have a hair if i can take something off your body..then laugh like you're insane....

I would not give my hair to anyone, except I may donate it to cancer patients for wigs. Other than that too much info can be taken from hair. Say NO.

They should ask their wives for their hair. It seems
to me they have ulterior motives, such as getting
away with murder.
