Well I probably don’t count because I have met two people with the same first, middle, and last name I have: my father and grandfather. I also know, from a family genealogy chart, there are or where at lest 3 other people out there with my same first and last name. One of which has a similar or the same middle name, I don’t remember which. I also found out about someone with the same first and last name in Germany. And my last name is not very common; there are only a few hundred of us in the world.
I just remembered a great site for this: Just put in your name and see how many of you there are.

The chances of this happening in places like Scotland are that it used to be fairly common, and still is, as the eldest children were named after their grandparents and parents. In my family there were at least 2 groups of people with the exact first, middle and last names and in one of those groups there were 3 of them, 2 cousins and their aunt.

I did not meet the person but I was applying for insurance and the agent thought I was the other person. We matched FIRST, MIDDLE, LAST name AND Birthday. DAY, MONTH, YEAR. We even lived in the same city. The only thing different was we had different parents. I am still amazed at this.

My last name is very unusual, and everyone with it is descended from the same immigrant ancestor from the early 1700s, but there is a gravestone in Indiana with my first and last name, and dates of "my" birth and death on it. It's very eerie to look at!
Another anecdote for you: a few years ago my husband and I moved to a new town, and when he started his new job, they gave him a list of the birthdays of everyone in the office. One of the people he worked with had the same birthday as me, and then I found out he was the same age, so it was the same year, too. THEN I found out that he was born in the same city as me, which is in a foreign country, approximately 1500 miles from the city we were now living in. Add to all of this the fact that we had the same first and last initials....it made me shiver.

Not the same middle name, but yeah. Lately, I've had people calling my place looking for someone by the same name as me (actually, my former name, as I recently changed my name, but the phone book still has my old name).
Here's one for you:
I grew up two doors down from a family that had three daughters (about my age). The oldest two girls eventually both married men with the same name!!

That's weird, but cool. I have another for you. My sister's hubby has 2 sisters and 4 brothers. 3 of the boys have the SAME exact birthday, April 4th, but several years apart. What are the chances of that happenning in the SAME FAMILY ?

Met someone with the same first and last, but the last was spelled differently, and not a very common name, either.
But no, noone with the exact same whole name. I wonder if she's out there...

Yes! I have an unusual italian first name, a boring middle name, and a very unusual polish last name. I googled myself only to find the other "me" lives only 40 miles from my house. Weird. Same spelling AND almost the same age! (one year difference)

I've never met anyone with my EXACT name, but my cousin's first and last name is the same as mine. My uncle died and he had never met me, so he named his daughter Megan, not knowing there was already a Megan in the family.
