Two questions. Will the fight come off? Hopkins thinks he can get Jones to take a 50/50 split on the purse. If the fight does materialize who wins it?

I'm not sure about this fight happening because these guys can't seem to agree on anything accept not fighting each other. This rematch should've happened years ago but their egos got in the way and Hopkins turned down a 60-40 split when he was supposedly going to fight Jones for Roy's Light Heavyweight title. Roy would be wise now to take a 50-50 split because he isn't the fighter he once was and he has lost 3 of his last 4 fights including 2 brutal KO's, so i think Roy has to take this fight and it may actually come off. Hopkins, though he lost 2 close fights to Jermain Taylor, came back to dominate Antonio Tarver, the man who whupped Roy 2 out of 3 fights, so i think Hopkins has the leverage to command more of the purse. As for the fight itself, even though he has slipped a bit, Roy has a style that can still give Bernard trouble. I think Bernard would fight Roy differently than he did when they fought years ago as Middleweights because Bernard is a much craftier fighter now and he may make Roy come to him and counter punch him more early in the fight and then start to be aggressive in the middle rounds and take the fight to Roy. I'd pick Hopkins to win at this stage of their careers. Hopkins looked good at Lightheavy against Tarver and i think he beats Jones in a not so exicting fight by decision.

Brent it's really hard to say if they will fight or not. Jones Jr. just can't avoid punches like before and his chin is suspect. Hopkins though over 40 now still seems to have something left in the tank. I believe that Hopkins would win by unanimous decisipn.

If the fight comes off Hopkins runs jones out of the ring, no contest, jones is finished. I would like to see Hopkins-Winky Wright at 168 pounds.

jones would do the move where he puts his hands behind his back and hopkins would think they were being arrested so he would do the same.at this point jones decides to bite hopkins ear and then.. just kidding hopkins by ko in under 6.roy has always been overrated just like de la hoya.

They are both too old to box with the skill they once had, and roy jones hasn't been a middleweight for some time. I think if they do box it will be something to fall asleep to.

BHop, cuz Jones always relied on his catlike reflexes, and he is too slow now cuz he is older. Bhop would pick him apart and win a 12 round unanimous decision
