i have tried every advice that yahoo answers have given me, and still cant get him to look my way, everyone says im beautiful, but he wont talk to me, yesterday in class he sat by me and then hurried and got up and moved away and then his brother sat by me instead, but i dont like his brother the way i like him. what should i do?

for the same reason why its hard to get a girl to like us guys. I bet his brother likes you; sounds as if you have a love triangle going on.

There is a possibility that he does like you, but could be completey shy and still too immature to know what to do about it. When a guy likes a girl, they do get nervous and uncomfortable so sometimes it is just easier for them to "pretend" they do not. Being so vulnerable like that is kind of scary for a lot of guys.
Worse case scenario, he just may not be that into you. Do not take it personally. I am sure there have been guys who were attractive that you were not attracted to for whatever reason. If you try to force this, it just make sit worse. Trust me, i am sure by now that this ghuy knows you like him and are "jumping through hoops" to try and get him to notice you.
In all cases above, just try letting it go for a while. If he is really interested, let him do some of the work too. Though it is flattering for a girl to pursue a man, most me still want to be the pursuer, not the pursued.
After a few weeks if he still doesn't seem to notice you, please let it go. Why waste anymore of your valuable energy on this anyway. You will just take it away from a man out there who is more worth of what you have to offer.

I think you should stop trying so hard. First, you can never make somebody like you. People are attracted to people for many reasons, even if your beautiful it does not mean he has to like you.
I would just let it be and move on. If one day he is interested he will let you know, and if you are still interested great. If not move on, and find a relationship in where you dont have to make somebody like you, find somebody who already does.

Honestly, you won't want to hear this, but there's really no fool proof way to "get" a guy to like you. Most of the time, you can't. He either likes you or he doesn't. Sounds like this guy doesn't. I know it sucks, but that's just the way it is. You've said that you've tried ways of getting him to like you; I hope you haven't changed who you are. If this guy doesn't like you, he's not worth your time. Try to get over him. It will be hard, but keep being yourself and keep telling yourself that you are an amazing person who deserves an amazing guy. He'll come some day, maybe when you're least expecting it. And he'll like you for you, and you won't have to do anything to get him to like you. Good luck!

Well this answer may hurt your feelings but he just doesn't like you no matter how hard you try and sometimes even if you did everything a person still may not like you they can't help it but that's the way it is. and beauty isn't everything because if everyone cared about beauty no ugly person would ever be married otherwise.

Forget about him and go for the brother. He has about the same genetic stock. Too often women glom onto the first man they think is the best male and then all the other women want him. They don't realize that that there are other men out there that are better.

Its fundimentally impossible to know what to do when your trying to attract someone. First of all, you have to understand psychology, second of all you have to understand that no two people are alike and you have to generalize through psychology because psychology is a limited understanding of the human mind. Thirdly you really are to young to understand either of these aspects and even the most brilliant minds couldnt tell you exactly what to do, they could only generalize bla bla bla its to all too intense.
Believe me ive thought about this a million times over, there is no solution except a crash course through it.

Well, there's only so much you can push it until it starts to look pathetic...he's either shy or not interested. It shouldn't be hard to "get" a guy to like you. Either he does or doesn't. I say move on and find someone that really does like you back.

Believe me its not hard to get him to like you. I like a lot of girls, but I want to be confident there is a chance of her liking me before making a move. We guys get scared sometimes and it is not about a lack of confidence. Show him you like him and don't hide it. Make it obvious.
