If you go to Petco or pet-smart you should be able to find a lampshade shaped thing to put around its neck until it heals

You can put a gauze on the scab and wrap the tape around his body. That way, you can keep his claws free and the scab won't bother him so much.

you can also make a 'cone' out of an old bottle and put it around his neck til it heals. You should also take the cat to the vet (if you haven't already) and ensure that the cut is not infected.
