with kidds??? i alway have to light up my malboro in the kar. i never drive w/ window open becuse it wasts gas......my kids no thats i starts yellin if i not smke @ leste one cig @ a times. sometimes my daughter light up her camel turkish lite also in kar...my states mITE makes it violations to smoke in kar!!! i herd this on news today!!! i cannnot see point of law!! whats am i spose to do whiles drivin if i cannot smokes??? it not hurting anyone anyway!!! i guess theys want to kut back on litter bugz!! do u smokes while drivings u kar?

The law has to do with smoking in the car with children. Second-hand smoke is very harmful and having a child locked up in a car with all that smoke is setting him/her up for lung problems and probably an early death. Smoking is also a distraction, like cell phones, so really, no one should be smoking in a car, but the kids are the ones who will suffer the most.

Smoking in the car with the windows up is harmful to everyone in the car. It traps the smoke inside and your kids and anyone else in the car will breathe in the second hand smoke.
I smoke in the car sometimes...but I also roll the window down and NEVER smoke with a child in the car.

I don't smoke. With the amount of money people pay for their cars it seems stupid to me that they would smoke in them. If you old enough to smoke your old enough to vote. If don't like the laws try to change them
