I need an inexpensive way ( porabably not taking lessons) to develop my acting skills.

Go out in public and pretend to be someone your not. Do the dress and all. Dress up like the opposite sex, or life style. Just make sure your family knows so they do not think you have any screws loose upstairs.....lol (my brother did this and I stood from afar watching him...he was HILARIOUS!)

To be honest I was terrible at acting until I did local theater, its the cheapest way to develop your skills I have learned a lot from my directors and fellow cast mates. Also try to go to plays once in a while and observe the actors and how realistic they are and how good their acting is. Good Luck!!!

Practice with a mirror...that was how I did last time while preparing for a show in a acting class.

Join a local theatre. It's fun, and the director will have plenty of advice.
