That's more than just being an ordinary pervert, that's the kind of behavior that indicates a possible serial rapist or killer.

If you see this guy again, GET TO SOMEPLACE SAFE. If possible, write down his license plate number and a description of him and the car. If you can't get to safety and you have a cell phone, be ready to dial 911.

This guy is scary, or more specifically, his behavior is scary. Depending on where you live, you might even consider notifying the police in your town that you experienced it. And if you're in school, tell a teacher you trust or your principal. They tend to take stuff like this seriously -- no principal ever wants to be interviewed by the 6 O'Clock News to explain why they didn't do more to keep one of the kids at their school from getting killed.

Having been a guy for 50 years now, I can say that most guys have a little bit of pervert in them all but the real men don't show it to anyone at any time.

As for what makes some guys do this is a cross between the guy liking what he sees, being a real jerk and being an honest guy that wants to get your attention. I don't think the last one is the correct answer so my suggestion is to do what you already did and ignore him. If he was any kind of gentleman, he's talk to you face to face so you can look into his eyes to see if he's lying.

You should have turned in the opposite direction that his car was going and ran away. I would have called the police on him. Sounds like a perv to me.

You NEVER talk or give any attention to someone you don't know especially when they are following you in a car! You should have gotten his plate number and reported him. You can never be too cautious. You never know what kind of person your dealing with. There was a reason he was trying to get you to his car. Be very careful.

This has happened to me too when I was younger. Very scary. When I think back I wonder if I was just seconds away from being kidnapped but he changed his mind or got scared. Yes, any man who does something like that has issues. Its very creepy.

Next time this happens, scream and run like a maniac, you will get someone's attention, or call 911.
But you did good, you ignored him and didn't talk to him, never talk to strangers you don't know.

Very scary stuff...you should of went into a store or something...never, ever, respond to someone you don't know in a car that does that...I would of stopped and went in the other direction...that might of worked...too...

that is kind of scary. You should have written down the car license plate number. What the creep was doing isn't normal.

That's exactly what he is. Do not let yourself be alone in the same area with him, get his license plate number and call the police with it. Don't take any chances.
