My dad is buying me a kitten and is going to pick him up soon. (12 weeks old). He is a Male American Bobtail, hes light gray with black stripes, white tummy and socks, green eyes and is oh so very playful. Any suggestions on what I should name him ^^? Thanks!

There are many different ways to name a cat. since ur cat has coloured paws maby Socks, or Boots.since bobtail, Bobby or Bob.it's colour is grey so maby Smokey. because of it's black stripes, Stripes, Streakes.It's playfull so Paws would be cute, Angle is always a good name but for a boy Angelo, Friskers and friski (frisky) are very good names for playful cats. Well, personally, I glad you got a male cat because I think that male cats are more friendly than female cats. I Just got a male kitten too. His name is Douglas! I prefer naming my cats by people names, depending on what they look like or how they act. I named my cat Douglas because i used to have a toy cat that looked just like him, and of course the toy's name was Douglas. Plus Douglas mean playful and sweet. You could name your cat Dilan or Franklin. Of course You might not like those names, so you should wait a wile to see what the cat is really like. Good Luck!

Well what I would do is go to google and type in "names for male kittens". I did this when I got my kitten and I found the perfect name. Hope I helped.

I usually wait till I spend a few days with them before I name them, after playing with him and petting him something usually just comes to me. He might have a certain personality trait or something that would help pick a name.
Although I have to say that Gary and Jose are pretty good names.
