Chewing on aspirin in the area will numb the pain. It will taste gross at first, but it will work and quickly.

I feel your pain! Really... I had some wisdom tooth issues earlier in this pregnancy, and it was horrible. If you weren't pregnant, then ibuprofen would be the best thing. Unfortunately, this is not safe to take during pregnancy. Only Tylenol is approved for use during pregnancy. Call up your ob/gyn and see if he'll allow you to take something topical, like Oragel. Mine did. Also, there is a clove oil concentrate that helps alleviate some pain, which I was also told was safe, and used in conjunction with other medications (see below) after my oral surgery was completed. If you have to have dental work done, many doctors will allow the use of Vicodin or other hydrocodone w/ Tylenol as a pain reliever, but this is usually as a last resort. I had a bottle of 12 when I had my wisdom teeth removed, and had to use all of them, unfortunately. My ob/gyn said that was okay, as long as you don't develop a dependence to the narcotics. Good luck, and hope you'll begin to feel better soon.

If you've already made the appointment for next week and they know your coming and your in pain, often times they will call a prescription in for you to hold you until you can get there.

I'm going through that same thing this week. I have a horrible toothache. I went in and they couldn't find anything wrong in the xray. So he gave me hydrocodone and antibiotics and I have to go back next Thursday to see if they can find the problem yet again. The hydrocodone is pretty darn nice for a toothache!

Tell tour Dr. that you have hurt Ur back. Walk with a limp and tell the doc that there appears to be nerve damage too that goes into your leg. You should get some lorcet or loratab. Also as a band aid pour a BC power on the tooth. They also have a ( I forget the name ) a gel U can put on the tooth & gum that nubs it, it's an OTC product. If you want to contact me I can tell U another way to go.(but U need to soon to get order in before they close 4 the weekend) I hope this helps

if your dr. wont give you anything go to the ER. they will give you stuff to get rid of it. I have a bad tooth , that I need a root canal. it gets infected couple times a year. I use listerine, and it works wonders. gargle a couple times a day and take a motrin and advil. helps alot. i been dealing with this for 3 years now.

take some tolanal or asperin. If that doesn't work put some lemon juice on it twice a day and it will help in about 2-3 days.

An ER or Urgent care will see you and give you pain meds to get by oftentimes.
