I have a Panasonic cordless phone. I can't get it to ring audibly. Can anyone help?

This is a Panasonic model KX-T4310D-B, some years old. I
can regulate the volume on the base(answering machine) but the phone doesn't ring audibly and the receiver has a very low volume. The Low Battery light is not on so it doesn't seem to be the battery. Has anyone had this problem?

Check the side of the base or the phone itself--there should be a switch which turns the ringer on and off.

I tried and tried to find it, but the Panasonic website doesn't show it, but go to this website and make selections based on features. You should be able to find a model that has similar features.
