It isn't, but it is what the fat girls call themselves.

Men and women look at this issue differently, in general. Women want to be thinner and less curvy than guys want them to be! women usually prefer the Kate Moss look, while guys prefer the playboy look. There is a big difference. Also, the pendulum swings back and forth, from thin to thick and back again. Interestingly, women seem to lead these revolutions, the guys always lagging behind and trying to play catch-up. So, if you think guys pressure women to be thin, you're actually wrong: it is women who pressure other women to be thin, and society in general. One more thing: the ideal male image has become extaordinarily large and muscular in the past few decades and men are equally pressured to have a certain image these days as women, if not more so.

Marilyn Monroe would be considered fat in our day, and that's sad !!! She was so beautiful and she had curves and there was nothing wrong with that then and there is nothing wrong with that today. Women back then looked so healthy and so much more attractive. It's sad we live in a society where women feel they have to be so skinny to look good. Don't fall into that trap ladies.
of course I'm not saying let yourself go but look back at the pictures of Marilyn and other actresses from way back then and look at the difference. Just try to eat healthy and exercise and don't worry about what other people think or say about you. We all have our critics and as long as we are healthy and happy that's all that matters :O)

All of you, are completely cruel and immature. Size doesn't really matter. Now I understand when it is a health issue, and not a beauty issue. Those of you that call yourselves fat because it is affecting your preppy prettiness, you need to see a psychologist rather than a lypo-suctionist. Beauty comes from the what is in the person's heart and mind, not the size of their chest, thighs, or stomach.

Medically speaking, the only reason most people are considered "fat" or "obese", is because they don't have the metabolism that meets their nutritional diet. Said people, are obviously not as active in their daily life as they are supposed to be either. Also it is medically proven that these people are tremendously unlikely to catch any spread of disease (such as cold, flu, etc.)

I guess it's the same time ugly people became, 'different looking or 'unique'. I guess 'fat' can be in the eye of a beholder. My sister calls Britney Spears fat and she's a size 2! How in the world is that fat. People have lost their minds and need to get a life and just worry about themselves.

I also find that most people who like to call other people negative names usually could be called a few themselves.

Never. Fat is fat. You're not rubinesque, big boned, curvy, thick, etc... those are BS terms fat people made up. Sorry to say, but if you're fat, you're fat. Its one thing to be slightly overweight, like lower than 20lbs of what your max weight is for your height. And yes, there are fixed numbers you can go by to determine that. And its something totally different to be 5'2" and wear a size 16, GROSS!!!!

There is a difference. Some girls aren't super skinny. They have boobs and hips but they are not fat. They are curvy like an hourglass. There are some girls that have flab hanging out everywhere with no real shape. They are overweight.

Curvy has nothing to do with size, but shape. You can be curvy at any weight, as long as you have a waist that goes in and carry most of your weight in the hips and bust. HTH : )

Ahahaha Joe M <3
It's what fat girls call themselves. They'll say something along the lines of, "I'm not fat, I'm curvy and I love it :B" Yeah, 10 curves is too many. Curves are boobs and hips, instead of the little iron board bodies reallllly skinny girls have. NOT FAT. Fat is fat, not curves. Lol.
