I don't think you can--that's the way it goes--young children are curious and if he is exploring--well--that's awesome--he is a bright child--yes--it's frustrating for you--You just have to keep things way out of his reach--keep the soap far away--yes--maybe even in a totally different location--keep chairs away from counters--maybe put up a gate to get into the kitchen...so he can't get in there without you--he will eventually figure things out--and stop---but until then--you will just have to keep things out of his way--
maybe take him up to the sink yourself adn show him how it works--and then say--hey--do you want to make fun bubbles-and put him in the tub with the bubble bath--he is just curious and wants to explore...
Good Luck..

That is what little boys do. It is up to you to keep your eyes on him at all times. I know that it is hard. This morning while I was vacuuming my son was in the bathroom working up a lather with some hand soap and putting it all over his face and clothes! I feel like I have told him "no" a million times and that I have locked up and moved up as much stuff as humanly possible. So, sorry I don't really have an answer, but please know that you are not alone!!

Hehehe Sorry I am no help but it is nice to hear someone else is in the same boat.
I take it your son is too big for a playpen and/or screams when you put him in there? I have no idea. Mine keeps finding stuff and I have no idea where it comes from and he is gated in the livingroom!

If he can do those things, the house is not childproof. Put gates in doorways so he cant get into rooms you do not want him in.

Well, you should put everything that he shouldn't have away in high cupboards he can't reach and watch him like a hawk. There really isn't any way to stop him, until he is old enough that you can teach him.

As Un-Politically Correct as it will sound, I have found a quick swat to the hind parts works wonders.
