That's a good question. One I can't answer right now.
I broke up with my bf and gf last year about this time.
Though I've made my piece with my ex-bf, I've never quite gotten over my ex-gf. I see them constantly at the dojo and it's bitterly painful.
You always have to ask yourself if the reason you left is still a valid reason. That's the only thing that's kept me from going back to them. I know they'd keep hurting me. Hurting me without remorse.

I have been in that situation before and it took a couple times to realize what i have. There is only so many times that you can let this happen to you. If you keep letting him do what he is doing after a while he's going to think its okay and your going to be more accepted to what he's doing; which you shouldnt be at all.
To many chances is never a good thing, especially when someone(you) keeps getting hurt.
If it be put him deeper in your heart, step up to the plate and put your foot down, tell him to stop and tell him what he is doing to you. And if be just call it quits.
But I dont think its possible to stop loving someone, but it is possible to love someone and not be with them....
Good Luck...

"The best way to get over one guy is to get under another."
-An old friend of mine
Seriously though, keep yourself busy. Make plans with your friends. And the more you keep yourself busy with others, the better chance you'll have of meeting someone new (and better).
Gotta look out for yourself... don't get into heartbreak cycle and take the guy back again. If he's done it once, twice, more... chances are he'll do it again and again and again. Be strong. Keep your standards high.

If you want to forget him...never think about anything good but remember all the bad. If you dwell on the good then you will be drawn back into the relationship and you forget about the pain and suffering. The same goes if you want to stay in a relationship....then you should only think of the good and forget about the bad. The power of thinking....everything starts with a thought. What you think and dwell on...soon you will act upon it.

If you truly loved him, you will never get over it. If he is the type that breaks your heart, then he most likely will do it again. The smartest thing to do is to move on. But your feelings of him will linger for years to come. Do not let that influence your decision to find a more stable relationship.

I'd stop giving him chances because he always will break your heart.. been there a couple times, its no fun (opposite gender though)..
You should just start seeing someone else.. that always helps get over it ;)

You could stay with him...i am in the same boat as you...the thing is you have to try to better yourself and make yourself stronger..which may in turn force him to change himself. Sometimes in life all you can do is try to take care of yourself. You can not change people. Good luck email me if you need to talk i know how you feel.

He's just using you and he knows you'll take him back. Just tell yourself that it's over forever. Be strong and stand by that. Over time the hurt will fade. Trust me, it will go away eventually. You can do it! You're better than this guy.

Get rid of him and go get a good lay! If he keeps hurting you it isn't worth keeping. Find a man thats going to treat you like you should be treated!
