all my nightmares have something in common ever since I was little, some one is attacking me, or trying to rape, kidnap, or hurt me in some way, and there is a slim chance that if I scream loud enough I will be saved I open my mouth to scream and only a wispering sound comes out , then I am crying and trying to scream as this person attacks me, and then I always wake up in a cold sweat with tears on my face to the sound of my own bloody murder screams
what do you think this dream means
I'm just curious what do YOU think

Sweetie, this sounds like a "fear" dream. If you were raped,or attacked in some way when you were young, you could be reliving it.Hiding it deep in your unconscious mind where no one will ever know about it.You could be mortified to be attacked, and unable to save yourself. You have a fear that if someone attacked you,you may not be able to get help.Which is why only a low sound comes out.You are living out your fears through your unconscious mind, which are your nightmares. This is something that you may not get over,as it is a heavy fear.
I have a fear of snakes, and i am terrified of being bitten by a snake.I cant take talking, looking at,being near snakes.Period.I have nightmares of that, and once i wake up i look everywhere in my room in fear that there is a snake just waiting to bite me.God forbid this should happen to me.I dont go back to sleep afterwards.
It is a fear, and it is a fear to the extreme.Hopefully you will never have to encounter this situation.I think your just living out, your fear through your nightmares, unconsciously.Possibly you could contact a psychiatrist(SP?) and they can help you deal with this fear in a healthier way.In which will remove this from your nightmares and help you sleep better.Good luck hun and have a good evening.

Whenever you have a dream that you are being chased or attacked, it usually means that you are feeling threatened bu something going on in your life. Not being able to scream is the fear you have that you won't be able to deal with things the way that you need to when the time comes. This can be from your past rape but take a look at what else is going on in your life right now. Only you can determine what the dream is really saying to you. Good luck and God Bless!!!!!

Fears come out in our dreams. You have a fear of being attacked. You could also be feeling like you have no control in your life, and that you really can't speak up about it. In the instance of being attacked, a fear is not being able to scream for help. Losing your voice when you really need to use it, can cause fear, and that is why you dream that part too. As for the cold sweat and tears, that is completely understandable.

It sounds like you have issues about security or should I say insecurities. Is there something or someone that you have a possible conflict with? Do you feel that your life is out of control, and you don't know how or were to start to fix it? Do you live with a feeling of fear or doubt?
May I suggest that you sit down and make a list of the things that are troubling you, review it, and start taking steps to overcome your fears, doubts, troubles, worries.
Maybe even think about taking a self-defence class if your dream is as intense as you've stated. Knowing what to do in real life can be applied into your dreams. Then instead of trying to scream for help you can kick some ***. LOL
Seriously, you have the power to control your dreams.
When ever I have a distrubing dream that scares me, I use that power of God through his son Jesus Christ to rid myself of the dream. My wife thinks I'm nuts but it works every time.
I believe that in order to overcome any negative force in my life, I ask God for help first. His power is without measure, He knows me personally, and He wants the very best for me. And most of all He Loves me dispite my sins and short comings.
God Loves You Too, ask for His help with your distrubing dreams, He's always there for you, where ever you are.
Take care my sister.
Your brother in Christ,
Carl

I think you're just scared of encountering an abuse situation again, and it tends to appear in your dreams in a number of ways. Maybe seek counseling to get your fears resolved/released.
