DON'T PLAY. trust me on this. stay off of it as much as possible and try to keep it elevated to reduce swelling. it would be a good idea to let your coach know about you're knee when you see him next.
you're only 13 and you have your whole life ahead of you to play sports. i know its frustrating having to nurse an injury but i also know that if you don't take care of them you'll learn to regret it.
trust me you don't want to be in your 20s and look back wondering if you had taken better care of yourself injuries when you were younger if you'd still be able to play sports. its not an easy thing to come to terms with, so just take care of yourself ok

one thing you should know about pain and your body is "if it hurts...stop doing it" I would not play in tomorrows game although I know it sucks to sit on the sidelines during crucial moments of a game. Tonight you need to alternate between hot and cold on the effected area. 30 minutes of a heating pad for every 10 minutes of ice. this will cause the muscle to contract and expand and help to relax it. As for playing on it. You might want to follow that technique for at least the next 3 days. If you absolutely have to play tomorrow do the hot and cold thing tonight and tomorrow morning before you go. Then take a few aspirin (Excedrin or aleve work best for pain) then as soon as the game is over rest it and continue with the treatment.

DON'T play. If you've actually injured your knee, you could make it worse and you'll end up on the bench for longer. Follow the RICE guidelines: Rest, Ice, Compress (like with an ACE bandage), and Elevate. Your coach should be able to help you wrap the knee if you decide to go to the game and watch. Also take ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin) or naprosyn (Naproxen) if needed but FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE BOTTLE!!! More is not better and taking an OD won't help anything.

Pain is your body's way of saying that something is wrong. Forget about the game and get yourself checked out before you damage your knee even more, possibly to the point where you will no longer be able to play any sports. Hope you feel better soon.

Could be a strain, ligament damage, fractured patella. I can't tell without actually examining you. I would say take some Ibuprofen for the pain as these are anti inflammatory and get it looked at by a medical practitioner before you play anymore sport or you run the risk of causing more damage.

Stay OFF your leg! Sit down, elevate your foot to take pressure off your knee. Put ice on it for 20 minutes every two hours for the first 24 hours. DO NOT PLAY ANY B-BALL!! You can do major damage to it. See a doctor as soon as you can - to rule out any big problems, like a sprain or tear.

Yes, by all means, inform your coach. If your knee is injured and you continue to play on it, you may be taking a chance on making the injury worse.
