Moses jump started the bible. The rest of it is based on his work. Faith all boils down to whether or not you trust Moses, doesn't it?

How many contemporary religious leaders are frauds? Televangelists, Ron Hubbard, Jim Jones, David Koresh, countless others. How can we be certain that anything written thousands of years ago was true, or that it wasn't altered later to fit an agenda?

When people adhere to old religions even to the point of hurting or hating others, I get concerned.

I don't think Moses had to "jump start" the very word of God. I am not called on to trust Moses. My faith and trust lie in God who will never forsake his people. People are imperfect; therefore their ability to be trustworthy and faithful is less than perfect and they often disappoint and hurt us. God is always faithful.

My faith is with God. And you have the part about Moses half right...perhaps you should catch up on some Bible time. God Bless.

Moses didnt jumpstart anything, he was a participant and author of the Bible, the source of Gods written truth. Studying and following the principles of Scripture is not following men but actually God since it is his word. Men may have played a role in its creation but they were simple laborers like constructing a stadium or building, someone else owns it and is responsible for it.

i did no longer come to God with the aid of any "bible" or artwork of guy... it become in basic terms God and me....i did no longer even own a bible on the day of my Salvation. I now use the KJV... i've got faith God led me to that translation....and that i'm interior the minority, re bible use, interior the congrigation I attend... I quite have completed some looking into the textual critisim employer... no longer very well worth the time to me... i visit conform to applying the NASB(as much as date) if one isn't comfortable with the KJV language.... yet have little to no use for many all of the different so-stated as english translations.... The s0-stated as "minority texts" have in basic terms the declare that they are, suposadly, older. All this quite potential is they have been placed previously on the shelf and not used, subsequently they lasted... at the same time as the different texts have been widly used and wore out and had to be in particular copied... any way...that's in basic terms too plenty the unwinable combat.... i understand that God had a hand in my coming to apply the KJV and that i've got a certinty that it quite is the excellent, over all, english translation.... i do no longer concider any "present day" text cloth, or the KJV for that rely, to be inerrant... I do have super subject with the reality that this style of superb form of of the "present day" texts" use as, a minimum of section, of their base, the artwork of Westcott and Hort... neither of whom I concider... by applying their own artwork and witness... to have been in any way of the actual Christian faith......the reasoning for my popularity of the NASB is from what I quite have examine of the diligence given to the artwork by applying those in touch interior the interpretation.... even however they too used some from Westcott and Hort.

Yes you're right. This is where Christianity ended for me..... If Moses lied then Jesus was misinformed or delusional. It makes more sense this way.

Faith boils down to whether or not one is willing to believe something that has not been proven. I am not into "faith".
