I tend to drink wine less than the others although I do enjoy it. But wine usually gives me very slight dizziness and some sleepiness unlike beer and/or liquor. While I'm on the subject....vodka tends to be the most "upper buzz" than the others. I thought alcohol was alcohol.

Wine contains sulfates, which is naturally present on the grape skins. So, if you are allergic to sulfur, you may be having a slight allergic reaction with your buzz. I notice the difference when I drink white and red wine. I'm allergic to sulfur, so when I drink red, I get a different buzz...plus a slight itching in my hands or feet if I drink lots of red. :) Also, the percentage of alcohol per drink and the sugar content makes a difference. Bottom line: its just your body's different reaction to the different ingredients in each. Now stop typing and get back to drinking!

Because it definitely is. Its a nice mellow head unless you drink a few bottles, then you might get a little crazy. A beer buzz is a pretty wild buzz if you drink enough beers. Hard Liquor though can really get you in a frenzy. Its so much fun sometimes! Alcohol is definitely not alchohol!

I'm guessing because beer and liquor are alcohols fermented from grains but wine is an alcohol fermented from grapes. It's still the same type of alcohol, but since the alcohol came from a different source maybe it's not quite the same.
