find a place where you feel comfortable whether it be the library, your room, or at the kitchen table.
wherever you decide, stick with it. it takes 3 weeks to make something a habit.

don't rush things take time to work out what you are doing try some sample exercises of the work you are studying and do them as Meany times as you can to feel you understand.
then ask a friend to ask you questions and talk to others to see if they think the same way.
IF POSSABLE you need to do the work not just read about it.
ask if there is a study group you can join but you need to work on it with out distractions and don't fool around wile you study you can take a break to do so if you are getting board then come back to it later.

Depends on what you are studying. If it is music, then turn on the music and study. If it is art, surround yourself with artwork and then study. If it lovemaking, jump into the bed with your mate and study the various ways to give pleasure to your mate.

For me is this>>> nothing to distract me in the room (tvs, radio, AIM...), door closed, and books open, anyone comes tell them they need to wait until your done.
