I was in a 10 yr. relationship and had two beautiful kids. He comes over my house to pick up the kids. My heart just melts when I see him. We had a long talk and he said that he has a lot of love for me. However we argued and disagreements for the last 1-2 mths when we were together. He broke up with me and moved out. I was so upset, I said some hurtful things to him. He said he saw a side of me that he didn't like. I was just so angry. So, he said that he wants to stay away a little and see what happens. He wants to take it slow and build up a relationship again. He wants to see where it goes.

If he is willing to step back and restart a relationship and slow it down that could be good for both of you. At least he has not completly givin up. Just let what ever happens, go slow and have fun. You'll both know when your ready for the next step as long as the communication lines are open.

A strong healthy relationship is based on trust respect honesty and compamise, when you said the hateful things you mentioned respect took a hit and has to be earned back. It sounds like he still cares but needs some space to recover,all good things take time ... good luck

my husband and i recently separated for a whole year. i moved out of the county where we had lived. i went my own way and did alot of stupid things and said some very mean things. we are now back together. I've been home for 6 months now and the new found Independence we both have now has made our relationship stronger than ever. my advice... get back together, work it out. it is possible to have a better relationship then ever before. good luck to both of you.

I think he does still want to be with you. Right now he just wants his space and maybe possibly he is trying to figure out if being with you is the right thing. I think you should just stay where and how you are. Just be there and stay friendly will him and hopefully you and him get back together.

maybe he still likes u but as u said he saw a side of u that he doidnt like which means that in way u dissapointed him. and that takes a while to get over. give him some time but try to prove that u r sorry and that u love him.
