Mormons and the devil ........................
The Devil was born as a spirit after Jesus "in the morning of pre-existence," (Mormon Doctrine, page 192.)
Jesus and Satan are spirit brothers and we were all born as siblings in heaven to them both, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 163.)
A plan of salvation was needed for the people of earth so Jesus offered a plan to the Father and Satan offered a plan to the father but Jesus' plan was accepted. In effect the Devil wanted to be the Savior of all Mankind and to "deny men their agency and to dethrone god." (Mormon Doctrine, page 193; Journal of Discourses, vol. 6, page 8.)
Mormons must examine there religious structure for themselves and avoid regurgitating things they are told by self appointed experts (Bishop)(The Prophet).
Lucifer is a created angelic being (a cherub)(see Ezekiel 28:13-19 and Isaiah 14:12-15), and Jesus is not in the created realm, He is the Creator.
By Colossians 1:16 we know that Jesus created all things, including angels. In the Jewish vernacular of the first century "thrones," "powers," "rulers," and "authorities" were used to describe different orders of angels (see Romans 8:38; Ephesians 1:21; 3:10; 6:12). The phrase "all things" means that Christ created everything in the universe. Everything, whether it be simple or complex, visible or invisible, earthly or heavenly, was created by Christ, and that includes Lucifer. Jesus is not the spirit brother of Lucifer, He created Lucifer.
The book of Mormon is in direct contradiction to the Bible, therefore the mormon book is a separate book from the Bible and a non-inspired book.
Mark 3:25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

The plan of salivation is clearly layed out in the New Testament of the Holy Bible.
Below you will find how the Bible answers the book of Mormon.
Revelation 22:18 And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. 19 And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.
Mormons are polytheists (believing that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are three different Gods.)

Let me ask you this - who created Jesus? And who created your SPIRIT - NOT body? Why is it SO impossible to think we actually came from loving, Heavenly Parents?
We believe we are all spirit children of our Heavenly Father (and Mother) and yes, that includes Christ and Satan. We are all spirit brothers and sisters. Would that not be possible for our Heavenly Father??? Do you know WHY the earth and universe were created? FOR US - children of God!
Think about BEFORE the actual creation of the earth, mankind, all that...think about us as spirits - ALL of us. Our Heavenly Father was and is so loving that he wanted us to have an earth life, gain a mortal body, have earthly experiences - what wonderful blessings! And yes, Satan wanted to be the Savior but have all the glory and Christ said the "glory be thine forever and ever" to our Heavenly Father.
Christ under the direction of Heavenly Father then created the earth, universe and everything that inhabits those places.
INTERPRETATION IS KEY! You interpret things one way and we interpret them another. And I can promise you I HAVE 'examined' my religious beliefs/structure and I know that the structure is the only sure foundation there is in life.
Helaman 5:12
12 And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.
It is fine that you have an opinion and belief. Just please, allow us ours also.
Fireball - we will see won't we...

The Book of Mormon is a fictional work that Joseph Smith stole as a manuscript from a New York publishing house. It is amazing that educated people can actually believe that garbage.

That word is truthfully not contained in the Bible. It got here from the Roman Catholics spiritualising Revelation 3:20. Jesus is status on the door of the Church and knocking. some church homes have become so busy doing issues their way somewhat of following the authority of Christ that he has been, to all intents and applications, skipped over and edged out of His own Church. In John 3:16 Jesus says that "whoever BELIEVES in Him would have eternal existence." back in John 6:29 Jesus says that each and each and every one someone has to do to "paintings the works of God" is to "believe in Him whom He despatched." we ought to make Him the Lord and draw close of our lives - each and every component to it. he's our God and we are His worshipful creatures.

Seems like you've answered your own question buddy. I'm not a moron so yeah I completely agree with your answer to your own question. There's no such thing as the rapture by the way. The idea of a rapture wasn't come up with until the late 1800's and there is little or no Biblical evidence to support it.

Jesus is the Creator, that is harmonious with doctrine and it is taught in the Book of Mormon
Benjamin, an ancient Book of Mormon leader, taught his people of Jesus 120 years before His birth in Bethlehem, "And he shall be called Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things from the beginning; and his mother shall be called Mary." (Mosiah 3:8)
And what you say regarding Satan is true, Mormons believe that Jesus Christ and Lucifer were both spiritual sons of God the Father, as are we. Jesus was the first born and was like unto God. "In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1).
As spiritual children of God, a plan was created that would allow us to come to earth, receive physical bodies, and progress spiritually. God knew we would each fall short of perfection, and thus be unable to return to live with him. As part of the plan, a Savior would come to earth to redeem all mankind from their sins. Lucifer, or Satan, fell from heaven due to pride - he wanted to change this plan presented by God and force everyone to follow him - we would have no choice; ultimately, he wanted all the glory. His plan was rejected and he and his followers were cast from heaven.
"And I, the Lord God, spake unto Moses, saying: That Satan, whom thou hast commanded in the name of mine Only Begotten, is the same which was from the beginning, and he came before me, saying—Behold, here am I, send me, I will be thy son, and I will redeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost, and surely I will do it; wherefore give me thine honor. But, behold, my Beloved Son, which was my Beloved and Chosen from the beginning, said unto me—Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever. Wherefore, because that Satan rebelled against me, and sought to destroy the agency of man, which I, the Lord God, had given him, and also, that I should give unto him mine own power; by the power of mine Only Begotten, I caused that he should e dcast down; And he became Satan, yea, even the devil, the father of all lies, to deceive and to blind men, and to lead them captive at his will, even as many as would not hearken unto my voice." (Moses 4:1-4)
