Any tips on a good brand of hot rollers and also, how to use them? I use a curling iron for lose barrel curls, but I want to switch to hot rollers but have no idea how easy/hard this is.

I believe BaByliss Thermo-Ceramic Rollers won the InStlye beauty awards 2006, so they must be good. Apparently, they have a good selection of sizes including extra large rollers, which can be used just to create volume. They are priced at £30 in the UK and I am sure you can purchase them from most catalogues or electrical stores.
Unfortunately, I have not used heated rollers before so I cannot help you there. Sorry!

you can roll hot rollers on your hair and leave them in for about 10 to 20 to 30 minutes depending how curly you want your hair. then when your dont just put a little of hairspray in it.
