I very much doubt that there is International horse fraud taking place these days, if indeed it ever did. There have, however, been plenty of cases within various countries. Most recently we have had the "Milkshake" scandals in the USA and the "non-trier" jockeys in Great Britain.

It is pretty much impossible to dope a horse these days due to vigorous drug testing rules.

People will always look for a way to get round the system, but thankfully the industry is much cleaner than it used to be.

Unfortunately there are a lot of people out there looking for the quickest way into your wallet. Look at the lawsuit that's going on between the owner of Kendall Jackson's Winery (Jess Jackson) and several agents and trainers in undisclosed fees that were charged under the table. Hundred's of thousands of dollars!
