I'm sorry your aunt lost her husband. The best thing you can do is be there for her.

Make sure she doesn't have to pick up after you or anything. You're there to help, not make work for the poor lady.

Use your good manners because she just lost her husband. Help her around the house if she needs it. If she needs to go somewhere maybe you should drive since her nerves are probably shot.

Its sweet of you to stay with her, so be helpful once you're there. Take care.

My Mother-in-law just lost her husband and I wasn't sure about being around her either. What do I say,...... what don't I say.... But, I just hugged her a lot and listened to her talk about her husband. I told her that I loved hearing stories about him and she should feel free to talk to me about whatever she wants. A lot of times people think you shouldn't talk about the deceased anymore. But, their loved ones really need to.

Dont be unsure, just be there for her. Offer your help in anyway that you can. Sometimes just having another presence there is comforting. Sorry for your loss.

There is nothing to be afraid of Erin. Your uncle is dead and gone. Be kind to your aunt and bring some joy to her while she is going through her loss.

Put your aunt's feelings first - she just lost her husband. If you're worried about his ghost ---- BOO.!!! Silly.
