Yeah.
If you divorce her she'll get the house and you'll be living on the streets.
I definitely agree.

Its a proverb. It does not mean that you should move out onto your roof if your wife is quarrelsome-it means that you will have a tough time living in close quarters with her.

Yes living with a horrible wife is HORRIBLE. Better to jump off that roof into a field full of bicycles with the seat missing!

Agree You must not be married or this would be very plain to you. It means, if you married poorly, it is better to stay married and not give her a foot hold over you to bicker and nag about. Also you could say that it means nothing is truely worth fighting over in your home.
Yes ladies the reverse can easily be said.

This is true on both parts. When your living with someone that is always nagging or causing confusion this will make you unhappy and when your unhappy at home, then guess what your looking else where. And then your committing adultery and that's when sin get's involved. but that's a whole different topic(lol)

Agree. This was one of the earliest forms of high blood pressure control.
Who wants to share space with someone who is so unhappy that they are arguing all the time?

She might be less quarrelsome if he were on the roof instead of lazing around the house in his underwear belching from wine.

Yeah, but most of the time, quarrels are the result of a man's pride fighting a woman's need for emotional attention, not just the women.
Agreed.

True. I once told a fellow that who wanted to kill his wife. He knew it was in the Bible and the book of Proverbs. He got drunk and did it anyway.
