Yahoo Answers has only been around for a little over a year so how have you been a member for years?
If you are talking about just a member of yahoo-that doesnt count. They are only talking about the amount of time it has been since you joined YA

Does it really matter ? As long as you can read questions and answers and get your questions answered, I would think it is ok.
