Chakras are an Indian concept of visualising and analysing the ebb and flow of physical vital energy.
Yes, the energy flow of the human body systems can be redirected /balanced /improved by acupuncture for example. Chinese Physicians have spent thousands of years doing so and todays acupuncturists still do very successfully.
Western medical science has a fairly short history by comparison , people were being given mercury for STDs only last century, the percentage of hospital admissions for prescription drug overdosage remains high and quite a few questionable practises remain.
The basis of homeopathy rests on the presence of a 'vital force ' energising the body. Children usually have a strong vitality ,old people have a weaker one. All the exercise regimes, eat healthy food etc ideas are to improve that inherent vitality. It's not too hard to understand ?
To me its a fact, ,I have seen cases where there has been energetic disturbances, physical symptoms but no physical pathology.
Perhaps these are the cases where the medicos shake their heads and say 'We don't know why you feel this way ,there doesn't seem to be anything wrong'
I'm pretty sure this happens quite a bit !!
The patient continues to suffer until they get to the point of displaying a physical ,measurable pathological sign.If it were possible to get in there and correct the imbalance before it became a problem permanently wouldn't you do so?
This is the philosophy of 'prevention is better than cure'.

The energy is called different things by different traditions. I call it Chi. The chakras are simply nodal points in the body where the energy tends to concentrate and swirl around.

I think so.
many many people believe it.
when somebody heals you, if they believe in it, why not at least try to understand it
it sounds weird though and runs counter to most Western science though, in 30 years they will have more answers about it and insurance might cover 15% of it so they can say they support it.
